The result was to give the Pukeko an uncluttered crisp white background and to ground it with a bit of grass. And just for fun we gave it a dragonfly to play with! To tie it in with the original blue design we have coloured the insides of all the vessels and the under sides of all the plates and dishes with our signature rich cobolt blue stain.
