Modern trends were showing that our customers were wanting something more ‘clean-cut’ and simple so we took to the drawing board to achieve this without losing our very cute Pukeko character which is loved around the world. The result was to give the Pukeko an uncluttered crisp white background and to ground it with a bit of grass. And just for fun we gave it a dragonfly to play with! To tie it in with the original blue design we have coloured the insides of all the vessels and the under sides of all the plates and dishes with our signature rich cobolt blue stain. NOTE: ALL OUR CERAMIC PRODUCTS ARE HAND-PAINTED IN OUR KERIKERI STUDIO. THEY HAVE BEEN HIGH FIRED AND ARE DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE AND OVEN SAFE.
