BLACK POHUTUKAWA DESIGN:
Easily one of our most popular, this design was influenced by the epic beauty of the flowering Pohutukawa Tree glowing under a summers night sky. We have found the secret of creating a flawless shiny black glaze that seems to illuminate the red of the flower so it glows, highlighted by raised pollen spots for that textural feel . A classic design and unmistakably NZ in flavour.

WHITE PUKEKO DESIGN:
This design is the contemporary version of Keriblue’s signature ‘Blue Pukeko’ range. Modern trends were showing that our customers were wanting something more ‘clean-cut’ and simple so we took to the drawing board to achieve this without losing our very cute Pukeko character which is loved around the world. The result was to give the Pukeko an uncluttered crisp white background and to ground it with a bit of grass. And just for fun we gave it a dragonfly to play with! To tie it in with the original blue design we have coloured the insides of all the vessels and the under sides of all the plates and dishes with our signature rich cobolt blue stain.

The inside of all the vessels are painted in a warm harvest colour that sets off the blue perfectly. POPPY DESIGN:
Fresh from the fields the Poppy design has evolved from the merging of two designs……an old Keriblue favourite and a newer design borrowed from a dear friend who had the patience to show us how she paints her own beautiful poppies. We wanted to recreate the natural beauty of the poppy flower whilst keeping it uncluttered and as striking as it is in real life. The brilliant red and velvet black of the petals have been incorporated with simple lines and tiny dots giving it a bit of artistic flair. Fresh and bright for the new summer season, we have teamed brilliant orange and the warm smokey hues of our gorgeous sunsets with a favourite flower motif found in art works all over the South Pacific. Incorporating fine detailed lines and scratching has given it that ‘tapa cloth’ like texture, a reminder of our amazing Polynesian artisans and crafts people.
