Medium sushi plates are stunning as serving ware for H'ordeauves or cakes or as an alternative to a dinner plate. They are very modern and contemporary in their shape and look wonderful in any setting. It is so loved and recognised that it has become our signature design hence we have incorporated it into our Keriblue logo. Vibrant and quirky our Pukeko tableware is being used in many homes all over the world. As with all of our ceramics each one has been hand-painted and therefore no two are the same! On each piece of our Blue Pukeko range, the Pukeko has been framed in our favourite cobolt blue stain. The inside of all the vessels are painted in a warm harvest colour that sets off the blue perfectly. The Pukeko has been painted with the addition of grass and a dragonfly so that it can mix n match with the White Pukeko range easily. NOTE: ALL OUR CERAMIC PRODUCTS ARE HAND-PAINTED IN OUR KERIKERI STUDIO. THEY HAVE BEEN HIGH FIRED AND ARE DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE AND OVEN SAFE. Incorporating fine detailed lines and scratching has given it that ‘tapa cloth’ like texture, a reminder of our amazing Polynesian artisans and crafts people. Measures (mm): 105w x 100h (not including handle and spout) Volume: 500mls Weight: 420g WHITE PUKEKO DESIGN: This design is the contemporary version of Keriblue’s signature ‘Blue Pukeko’ range. Modern trends were showing that our customers were wanting something more ‘clean-cut’ and simple so we took to the drawing board to achieve this without losing our very cute Pukeko character which is loved around the world. The result was to give the Pukeko an uncluttered crisp white background and to ground it with a bit of grass. And just for fun we gave it a dragonfly to play with! To tie it in with the original blue design we have coloured the insides of all the vessels and the under sides of all the plates and dishes with our signature rich cobolt blue stain.
